DKIM explained: the signature of your e-mails
DKIM is a digital seal for e-mail. We show how the signature works - and how NeoMail24 checks it for you.
A normal mailbox only receives e-mails addressed to exactly one address. A catch-all mailbox ("catches everything") is different: it accepts every message aimed at any address on the domain - no matter what stands before the @. If someone writes to info@, shop@ or to a typo like shopp@, everything lands in the same mailbox.
The big advantage: nothing gets lost. A sender’s typo can no longer prevent delivery, and you can spontaneously use your own address for every service - newsletter-service@ for the newsletter, order-shop@ for the online shop. If one address receives unwanted advertising, you know immediately who passed it on.
Spammers simply guess addresses: hello@, sales@, info@ - with a catch-all, all of these attempts arrive. Without protection, unwanted mail piles up quickly. That is why a spam filter that rates every message matters, plus the ability to block senders and adjust the sensitivity.
NeoMail24 receives the entire domain neomail24.de through a catch-all receiver and automatically routes every message to the right mailbox - to your main address and to all the alias addresses you have created in the account settings. Messages addressed to mailboxes that do not exist do not vanish into thin air: they are collected and reviewed by the operator.
In short: catch-all delivery ensures that no e-mail on neomail24.de gets lost - NeoMail24 sorts every message into the right mailbox automatically and rates its spam risk while doing so.

SPF defines which servers may send for a domain, DMARC decides what happens to forgeries. How the two work together.
